Our life and garlic

Sampling our garlic.  We are getting good feedback from people who sample our garlic and we are getting ready to put in the new lot for winter.  Exciting. It becomes a LIFE now. Networking in the industry is starting. We are a member of AGIA. http://www.garlicaustralia.asn.au/

Going for organic certification

We are growing our garlic without chemical fertilizers, chemical weed blockers, any herbicides or fungicides. That goes for the whole farm.  We use green mulch to manage the soil; we soil test yearly and add laughter and fun during the planting, harvesting and curing.
Mystery Creek Farm is starting up the process of qualifying for organic certification.
We produce healthy garlic.

2011 giant garlic harvest

Our giant garlic harvest this December went really well!

It is Oct '11 and our Russian garlic "Luisa" and the Italian garlic are looking good. Strictly organically grown... heaps of work.... rewarding outcomes.
